History

As part of the Teichert Family of Companies, we are proud to be part of Teichert's long-standing commitment to excellence.

As pioneers of the construction and infrastructure industry in California, Teichert has had the unique advantage of being early adopters and innovators of our craft, contributing to and leading toward advancements in our industry.

We have set and raised our own standards for more than 137 years, starting in 1866 when Adolph Teichert emigrated from Germany in search of new opportunities in America. His forward-thinking, perseverance and aspiration of building a business known for its honesty, quality and care set our legacy in motion more than a century ago — and continues to inspire our journey.

Holding California's oldest contractor's License, #8, Teichert has a rich history in all aspects of energy infrastructure projects including: wet and dry underground utilities; large, complex energy infrastructure projects; roads and highways; aggregate/sand/cement; and as asphalt material suppliers.

Teichert's full-service, vertically integrated model and deep project management expertise are designed to compliment Teichert Line Services and support our customers throughout all stages of a project lifecycle.
